Mark joined Crosse + Crosse in October 2014, having practised as a solicitor in both Devon and Cornwall for over 20 years. He is an Associate with the firm and a solicitor in the Probate, Tax and Trusts Department.

Mark has a high level of experience in the following fields:

  • Preparation of Wills
  • Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Advance Decisions/Living Wills
  • Administration of Estates
  • Administration of Trusts
  • Inheritance Tax
  • Trust Taxation

 

Mark studied at Exeter University, where he gained an LL.B Honours degree in Law. After qualifying as a solicitor, Mark also went on to attain full membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). STEP is a worldwide body comprising professionals who specialise in the field of Trusts and Estates. Membership was gained through four separate exams taken over two years.

 

As a full member of STEP, Mark complies with the STEP Code for Will Preparation in England & Wales.  The Code is a set of ethical principles that operate for the benefit of clients and demonstrate openly the commitment of STEP members to transparency and client service. Mark is also a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly. This is an extremely valuable grouping of solicitors who specialise in and wish to increase their knowledge of matters relating to the older client.
