Chris Hall is a Senior Partner at Crosse + Crosse and Head of the Employment Department. He also sits part time as a Deputy District Judge, adjudicating on a wide range of civil disputes.

After graduating from University College London with a First Class Law degree, Chris worked with a City firm, acting for large international companies. He then joined Crosse + Crosse in 1974.

Chris has many years of experience advising both employers and employees in the full range of employment matters including redundancy, unfair dismissal, and sex/race/disability discrimination. He acts for several large national companies and professional bodies, as we as for a wide range of small and medium sized local businesses. He has successfully represented employees against public and private sector employers. Chris believes in a hands on approach and conducts his own advocacy., appearing on a regular basis in the Employment Tribunal in Exeter. He has also taken a number of cases to the Employment Appeals Tribunal (reported case Lang v Devon General Ltd).

Chris particularly enjoys the challenge of difficult cases and "winning against the odds". He has an excellent reputation locally and much of his work comes from personal recommendation.
